What astrocartography shows
An astrocartography chart is a map of locations where the Sun, Moon and planets occupied one of the four angles—ASC, DSC, MC or IC—at your birth moment.
The map does not label a whole country as lucky or unlucky. It highlights zones where a planetary theme may become more visible. Birth-time accuracy matters because the lines depend on the angles of the natal chart.
The four planetary line types
Moon line astrocartography
A Moon line can heighten emotional sensitivity, family concerns, instinctive reactions and the need to belong. On a Moon–IC line, home and ancestry may dominate. A Moon–MC line can increase public responsiveness or caretaking roles. Moon–ASC may feel personally exposing, while Moon–DSC often brings emotionally significant relationships.
A line is not a promise of an event. Read its planet, angle, natal condition and your real-world purpose together.
How to assess a location
Astrocartography versus a relocation chart
Astrocartography gives a global overview of angular lines. A relocation chart recalculates houses for one chosen place while keeping the original birth moment. They answer related but different questions and are strongest when used together.
Common questions
How close must I be to a line?
Practitioners use different orbs. Treat proximity as a gradient rather than a hard border and compare the exact relocation chart.
Does AstroDice currently generate a world map?
No. This page is an educational guide. AstroDice currently generates natal charts and astrology-dice readings; it does not claim to provide an astrocartography calculator.
